Global Generation Church, Thanet
Global Generation Church in Thanet have been instrumental in the training, support and inspiration that fuels our leaders.
We share a deep friendship and common vision ... we are continually inspired by the innovation and passion that has become a hallmark of GLO THANET. Many of our ideas have been tested in Thanet first.
24-7 Prayer Communities Network
24-7 is a movement of Prayer, Mission and Justice - reviving the Church and rewiring the culture. Feeling increasingly aligned with the passion, culture and theology of 24-7 we at Glo Torbay became part of the 24-7 Prayer Communities Network in 2018.
The 24-7 Prayer Communities Network is our support and covering as a church community.
Scripture Union, Eng & Wales
SCRIPTURE UNION is an amazing organisation that has existed for 150 years and works in 120 countries!
Toby works as a Mission Enabler for the SU South West Team; supporting churches and whoever else wants to reach out to children and young people who are not in church with the good news of Jesus. Toby, Rachel and some of the Glo Torbay team also run one of Scripture Union's holidays for young people aged 12-16 on the Gower Peninsular, South Wales.
New Generation Church, Sidcup
NEW GEN is a Pioneer Church based in Sidcup, South East London who have been supportive in the journey of GLO THANET and therefore ourselves.
Paul and Paula Weston who lead the team have been generous with their time and wisdom, investing into who we are through years of friendship and example.
Big Church Day Out
On the May Bank holiday a team from Torbay will head to West Sussex to serve 25,000 people at the BIG CHURCH DAY OUT!
The BIG CHURCH DAY OUT is a weekend of family fun and top Christian music to celebrate all that is good. Since 2008 some of us have been volunteering at the event and more recently GLO TORBAY have provided the stewarding leadership team on site.
Wildfires Festival
We have the pleasure of being one of the partner churches for Wildfires Festival!
Joining many of our friends from the around the country to make it happen, we had a great time supporting the security, children's and youth venues, media team, worship, hospitality and more... can't wait to be back in a field in 2021.
Linx Christian Youth Trust
Linx Christian Youth Trust have been enabling young people to reach their full potential for 20 years and continue to do amazing work in schools and the community. We work on a number of projects together and are inspired by the impact they have across Torbay.
South West Youth Ministries
New friends of ours; SWYM do an amazing job equipping and training those who are called to Youth and Children's Ministry and Missional Leadership. Our first SWYM trainee arrived in Sept 2018.
